 Vet House received funding from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to pay a portion of the acquistion and rehabilitation costs of the transitional housing portion of the facility and currently receives a Per Diem Grant to help off-set operating costs.  Vet House works closely with the VA Connecticut Healthcare System which ensures that operation of the transitional housing facility complies with the terms and conditions of the VA grant awards.
