Mark J. Nolan is managing partner of Nolan Enterprises, a successful family-owned real estate investment and development firm that manages a significant portfolio of commercial and residential properties in Danbury, including more than 500 apartments.  Mr. Nolan is a recognized authority on affordable housing development and has served on various regional, State and Federal housing committees and taskforces.  Mr. Nolan currently serves as chair of the Danbury Housing Partnership, whose charge includes encouraging the production of affordable housing and implementing Danbury’s Ten-Year Plan To End Homelessness.  Mr. Nolan’s volunteer activities include service as past-president of CityCenter Danbury, co-chair of the Advisory Council of the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury, secretary of the Non-Profit Development Corporation of Danbury and board member of the Friends of Tarrywile Park.  Mr. Nolan is also a member of the Northern Fairfield County Association of Realtors.  Mr. Nolan was honored with a Community Leader Award from WeCAHR for his efforts to address the housing needs of persons with disabilities.
